AIDA is an AI (artificial intelligence) entity specific to Dere Alpha. The name is an acronym that means "Artificial Intelligence for Dere Alpha." Like its predecessor, AIRI, AIDA was meant to introduce the player to the game and its mechanics.

Throughout Dere Alpha, AIDA left messages for the player to read, attempting to be helpful and apologizing for glitches within the game. Later on, AIDA admitted to being overtaken by some "corruption" and bid the player farewell.
