Knightly is the name provided by Darius Guerrero for the player’s avatar in DERE EVIL.EXE. In the game, Knightly walks, jumps, and slides around the different levels while Yanna makes obstacles and alterations to fight against Darius. Knightly is also the player character in the bonus games Dere Quest and Derenoid. The player also controls Knightly in the easter egg game Dere Quest 2, where Knightly is given the name “Lucas” in the game’s menu screens.
