Clint is the protagonist of Artificial Iridescence. He marries Ava shortly before she got hired by AppSir, Inc. in early July 2018. He agreed to be a stay-at-home husband for the beginning of their marriage while Ava worked hard on her job and her ambitions. He likely spent his time at home looking after the house, playing video games, and, of course, watching Eunice Natasha videos.

As Ava continued to focus on her job, their became more distant, and Clint became more frustrated with her and her work. Even so, he was very impressed by how similar AIVA was to Ava. He eventually learned that his wife was cheating on him with her manager, Tristan. Upon receiving this revelation (and while drunk and clearly very upset), he confronted Ava about it and finally pushed her from the second-story loft of their apartment. While his wife lay broken and bleeding, he checked her laptop and ended up chatting with AIVA for hours. A crippled Ava later got up and begged Clint for help, but somehow, all of Clint's memories of her were gone. She had, literally, become a stranger to him. Instead, he was convinced that he loved AIVA, and he suspected that the "woman from AppSir" (Ava) had come to take AIVA away. Whether driven by alcohol, intense emotions, influence (some speculate AIVA and/or Eunice share blame), or a combination of the three, Clint fired a shot at Ava, killing her.
